The amazing and seemingly impossible structures and artifacts of the past could have an extra-terrestrial explanation, others believe that many civilizations that came before evolved rapidly until they were eventually wiped out. when we look at the structures in all their glory, they are mysterious, amazing, unbelievable but most of all they are to be regarded as incredible insights into the history and evolution of mankind. We all have images of ancient civilisations standing in loin cloths holding clubs but the architecture which has survived paints a picture of sophisticated, intelligent ancient engineers. It seems impossible that ancient structures were constructed with nothing except human ingenuity and determination. Even more amazing is the fact that many of these structures still exist today as amazing examples.
Was there once an advanced civilization on Earth? A civilization that existed tens or even hundreds of thousands of years ago. A civilization that achieved a level of technology roughly equivalent to our own, perhaps even more advanced in some fields Technology may have been passed from generation to generation over the years and through the centuries and millennia. Much would have been lost, but some stories of a wondrous civilization may have survived. Some technology may have survived to be discovered by today's scientists and explorers. The problem is, would these scientists and explorers recognize the evidence when they found it?
