Capital Link "Invest in Greece"
Forum in NY
The 21st Annual Capital Link Invest in Greece Forum will take place at
the Metropolitan Club in New York City on Monday, December 9, 2019, in
cooperation with the New York Stock Exchange and major global investment banks.
This international summit for raising awareness about Greece as an investment
destination to a wider investor community in New York, brings together
government and business leaders from Greece, Europe and the United States, as
well as top executives from the investment, financial and business world.
As Greece is embarking on a solid growth trajectory, the conference will
explore the current developments and the priorities of the new government for
reforms and investments, highlighting new opportunities and the country’s
attractiveness as an investment and business destination.
Top government officials from Greece will attend the Forum this year:
Minister of Finance, Mr. Christos Staikouras and Minister of Development &
Investments, Mr. Adonis Georgiadis as keynote speakers, as well as the Minister
of Maritime Affairs & Insular Policy, Mr. Ioannis Plakiotakis, the Minister
of Tourism, Mr. Harry Theoharis, the Deputy Minister of Environment &
Energy, Mr. Gerassimos Thomas, the
Governor of the Independent Authority for Public Revenue, Mr. George Pitsilis
and the General Director of the Public Debt Management Agency, Mr. Dimitris
Tsakonas.
United States Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross will be the Forum’s Dinner
Keynote Speaker introducing John Paulson, President and Portfolio Manager of
Paulson & Co. Inc., recipient of the“2019 Capital Link Hellenic Leadership
Award”.
Ambassador Lalacos will deliver the opening remarks.
