The international online conference Ancient Greek Theatre in the Digital Age (28-29th September 2020) aims to investigate the potentials and limits of the digital tool for the study of Greek Theatre: the speakers will reflect on the digital challenge for the analysis of Greek theatrical texts, surviving and fragmentary, and of the theatrical phenomenon in its totality, by presenting experiences undertaken, project proposals and research perspectives relating to digital editions, digital lexicons, distance teaching, digital archives.

The scientific meeting is organized by the University of Bari and will be held online (meet.google.com/bjn-uoum-ymi), in collaboration with the University of Piemonte Orientale and the Inter-University Centre for “Studi sulla Tradizione”. This session is part of the Widespread Conference on Ancient Drama promoted by the “Centro Studi sul Teatro Classico” of University of Turin.
